The idea for emerging artist giving them the ability to air their songs on a station that gives them the edge over competing with streaming services where you can get lost among the millions of artist. Cover expenses, having artist pay for airtime is one option where artist agree to forfeit compensation by receiving advertising at no cost something that the major streaming services don’t offer. Another option would be to sell advertising to businesses and pay out a percentage of the net revenue quarterly to the artist. Part of the revenue could include a monthly subscription fee of $2.99 on your YouTube channel. As far as promoting the channel, email campaigns, gather followers and Adwords which is a bit expensive.
