Biography: Tami Austin
One of the hottest up-and-coming acts in contemporary country music, Tami Austin is a gifted singer-songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona. From early childhood her parents knew music would be in her future. By age nine she was playing the piano and captivating everyone with her ability to perform songs by ear.  Tami's mother always inspired her to chase her dreams and pursue a career in music, but tragedy struck at age 15 when Tami lost her biggest fan to cancer. In the aftermath, music became Tami's only solace.  Inspired by such greats as Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, and Wynonna Judd, Tami began to forge her own unique style. For years she languished in lounges and coffee houses to make her voice heard while raising her family.   Now, “finally” her years of hard work and dedication have started to pay off as Tami has established a modest country music following since her official launch in early 2016. She has been mentored by Quincy Jones’ protégé Gary Gray, worked with platinum, award-winning producer/engineer Otto D’Agnolo and Grammy-winning songwriter/producer Trey Bruce on the release of her single “Billy the Kid,” along with her debut EP in 2016.
