Biography: Ryan J. Carson
To contact Ryan Carson directly, please email: ryanjcarson3@gmail.com "The mix of fuzzy, beautiful guitar and some of the personality of acoustic rock - not to mention the terrific vocals - is one that is heady, hooky and not to be missed." - A&R Select Ryan James hales from New England and is a trained musician. At age eleven he started composing songs as soon as he learned to play the guitar. Described as being "bold and professional" by Dan Barry from The Hartford Advocate, Ryan Carson showcases a signature alternative sound. With influences such as The All American Rejects, Rob Thomas, and Gavin Degraw it's no wonder his music is said to be "hookier than a bass tournament." Growing up in Connecticut, Ryan always knew he wanted to make a difference in someone's life. With that in mind, he writes lyrics that are raw and honest and states that, "If the music I write touches the listener in any way, whether it be the melody catching their ear or the lyrics helping them get through a situation, then I've accomplished what I always strive to do." After being in a number of bands, Ryan fronted for the band Final Fall and began recording. Within four years, the band released three demos and a live acoustic cd to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. Although Ryan saw several changes in bandmates, throughout college he continued to support the community performing at numerous nonprofit events including: Anti Bullying and The March of Dimes. Ryan is currently working on performing across New England and recording a new EP
